๐Ÿ“‘ Contents

Yes, you can visit the places from KPop Demon Hunters. Seoul's city government has named seven real locations connected to scenes in the Netflix film, from the Naksan Park fortress wall where Rumi and Jinu talk at night to the N Seoul Tower finale. Most are free to visit and close to a subway station. Below is each spot, the scene it's linked to, how to get there, and a simple two-day route.

A quick note before you go: the film is animated, so places are drawn in a stylized way. Don't expect an exact match from every angle. The fun is standing where the story feels like it happened.

The 7 spots at a glance

Place Scene in the film (per Seoul city) Nearest subway Cost
Naksan Park fortress wall Rumi and Jinu open up to each other at night after Derpy the tiger delivers a note Hyehwa (Line 4) Free
Bukchon Hanok Village Rumi and Jinu talk and sing together on a hanok rooftop at night Anguk (Line 3) Free
N Seoul Tower The climax, where the concert and the final battle collide Myeongdong (Line 4), then walk or cable car Free to the tower area; observatory is paid
Myeongdong Street The Saja Boys' street performance Myeongdong (Line 4) Free
Samsung Station screen (COEX) Fans in the plaza watch the "Golden" music video on a giant 3D screen Samsung (Line 2) Free
Cheongdam Bridge Huntrix and the Saja Boys chase and fight under the double-deck bridge Jayang (Line 7) / Cheongdam (Line 7) Free
Jamsil Stadium main stadium Huntrix's opening concert ("How It's Done") Sports Complex (Line 2) Outside view only (under renovation)

Scene descriptions follow the Seoul city government's own article (August 2025). Netflix and the film's makers are not involved with this guide.

North of the river: Bukchon, Naksan Park, Myeongdong, Namsan

Bukchon Hanok Village

The rooftop duet scene is set among Bukchon's tiled hanok roofs. In real life, you'll see the rooftops best from the sloping lanes around Bukchon-ro 11-gil, where the roofs line up down the hill.

Important: Bukchon is a living neighborhood. Since November 2024, Jongno District has limited tourist visits in the busiest "red zone" (around Bukchon-ro 11-gil) to 10:00-17:00, and fines for visiting outside those hours started in March 2025. So unlike the film, don't plan a night visit here. Go in the afternoon, keep your voice down, and don't climb on walls or roofs.

Naksan Park fortress wall

This is the spot for the night scene. The Seoul City Wall runs along Naksan Park, and the lit-up wall with the city below looks much like the film after dark. From Hyehwa Station, walk uphill through the Daehangno area for about 15-20 minutes. Wear comfortable shoes; it's a real slope.

Because it's a public park and the wall walk is outdoors, this is the best place to get that "Rumi and Jinu at night" feeling without disturbing residents.

Myeongdong Street

The Saja Boys make their street-performance debut in Myeongdong. Today it's still a busy shopping street full of street food stalls in the evening, so it's easy to combine with dinner before heading up Namsan.

N Seoul Tower

The film's finale happens around Namsan's tower. You can walk up Namsan from the Myeongdong side (about 30-40 minutes, steep in parts) or take the Namsan cable car. The area around the tower is free; going up to the observatory costs extra. Prices and hours have changed in recent years, so check the official N Seoul Tower website before you go.

Good to know: the very tall tower the film uses as the Huntrix home is fictional. In the film it stands where Lotte World Tower is in real life.

South of the river: COEX, Cheongdam Bridge, Jamsil

Samsung Station screen (COEX)

The "Golden" music video plays on a huge 3D billboard in the film. This is the large curved screen on the outside of the COEX building near Samsung Station (Line 2), at Yeongdong-daero 513. Stand in the plaza across from it and wait for the 3D content to loop.

Cheongdam Bridge

Huntrix and the Saja Boys fight under this double-deck bridge, where subway Line 7 runs on the lower level between Jayang and Cheongdam stations. For a safe, easy view, get off at Jayang Station and walk into Ttukseom Hangang Park along the river. Evening is best, when the bridge and the trains are lit up.

Jamsil Stadium main stadium

The opening concert takes place here in the film. In real life, the main stadium is under renovation. According to Korean media, it will be used as a temporary baseball stadium for the LG Twins and Doosan Bears from 2027 while a new domed ballpark is built. For now, you can only see the outside from around Sports Complex Station.

A 2-day KPop Demon Hunters route

Seoul is big, so group the spots by side of the river.

Time Day 1 (north side) How to get there
13:30 Bukchon Hanok Village (rooftop lanes) Anguk Station, Line 3, Exit 2 or 3
16:00 Myeongdong Street (snack break) Anguk โ†’ Myeongdong: Line 3 to Chungmuro, change to Line 4
17:30 N Seoul Tower at sunset Walk up Namsan or take the cable car
20:30 Naksan Park fortress wall at night Myeongdong โ†’ Hyehwa: Line 4, about 10 minutes, then walk uphill
Time Day 2 (Gangnam side, half day) How to get there
15:00 COEX screen at Samsung Station Line 2, Samsung Station
16:30 Jamsil Stadium (outside) Line 2, one stop to Sports Complex
18:00 Cheongdam Bridge from Ttukseom Hangang Park Line 2 to Konkuk Univ., change to Line 7, one stop to Jayang

Why this order: Bukchon's red zone closes to visitors at 17:00, so it comes first. N Seoul Tower is best at sunset, and Naksan Park and Cheongdam Bridge look most like the film after dark.

Subway rides in this route cost a basic fare each time. If you'll ride a lot, Seoul's Climate Card tourist pass gives unlimited rides from 5,000 won a day. Use Naver Map for walking directions, since Google Maps can't do them in Korea.

Tips for fans

  • Respect Bukchon. Visit only 10:00-17:00, stay quiet, and don't photograph inside people's homes.
  • Naksan at night is safe and popular, but bring a light jacket in spring and autumn; it's windy on the wall.
  • COEX is also a K-pop shopping area. You'll find music and merchandise shops around the building.
  • Don't expect official KPop Demon Hunters signs. These are real places linked to scenes, not theme-park sets.

FAQ

Is there an official KPop Demon Hunters tour?

Seoul's city government published the list of locations, and some private companies sell guided tours. You can easily do the route on your own with the subway and the table above.

Can I see the Huntrix tower?

No. The tall Huntrix building in the film is fictional. Lotte World Tower stands in that place in real life, and you can visit its observatory separately.

Which spot is best for photos?

For the "night" look of the film, Naksan Park's fortress wall and Cheongdam Bridge from Ttukseom Hangang Park are the easiest. For Bukchon, go in the afternoon and shoot the rooftops from the slope.

Final word

You can see all seven KPop Demon Hunters spots in about a day and a half: Bukchon, Myeongdong, N Seoul Tower and Naksan Park on the north side, and COEX, Jamsil and Cheongdam Bridge in Gangnam. Go to Bukchon before 17:00, save Naksan Park and the bridge for after dark, and you'll feel like you've stepped into the film.
